Research in the Shaffer lab is focused on understanding how differences between single-cells generate phenotypes such as drug resistance, oncogenesis, differentiation, and invasion. We use a combination of imaging and sequencing technologies to investigate rare single-cell phenomena.
We are an interdisciplinary team of engineers, physicists, biologists, and clinicians.
